Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.
-John Wesley, Founder of the Methodist Church
Clemson Wesley has the reputation around Clemson and throughout the South as being "doers" of the Word. Through short-term projects and week-long trips, one-time and recurring opportunities, and in local, regional and international venues, CW seeks to offer students the opportunity the put their faith into action as they both serve Jesus and meet Jesus in those being served.

Clemson University's MLK Day of Service Contact: Angela Guess (mattrea@clemson.edu) As part of CU's annual Martin Luther King Celebration in January, students, faculty and administrators are invited to "take a day on" rather than a day off in recognition of Dr. King's legacy of bringing folks from all walks of life together. Each year well over 250 persons serve in a variety of settings. Appreciation Meal for Clemson Employees Contact: Lane Glaze (glaze@clemson.edu) The employees at Clemson University help everyday for students run smoother but often times do not get the appreciation they deserve. CW’s Clemson Employee Appreciation Meal will honor these employees as each student will invite one or more staff member from campus. Anyone is welcome, so begin thinking of those that help make your experience at Clemson a great one, whether it’s the woman in Harcombe making your sandwich or someone who helps keep your dorm clean! Relay for Life Relay For Life is a night dedicated to raising money for the American Cancer Society and is held in April. During the night, volunteers walk or run laps to remember those lost, those currently fighting cancer, and those who have survived. CW has been involved with Relay for the past couple of years and helps raise money before and during the event. More information will come soon but if you are interested in working on the Relay Team, contact Lane.

Bahamas Mission For the ninth time in seven years, CW will return to the rural islands of the Bahamas to serve, share and experience the beauty of the land and people. Since 2003 over 300 different students and others have benefited from this life-changing experience. CW is planning to take a team of 50 folks to the island of Eleuthera during Spring Break in March 2010. The week promises to be filled with reflection, fellowship, rest, and worship as we experience the island’s amazing culture and landscapes. Students and others can support this mission by (1) financial gifts to help us buy tools and supplies to use and donate, (2) donating toys and basic medical supplies to be used in ministry, and (3) providing scholarship funds for students who need assistance.

We expect another great group this year and another great time of learning, worship and service throughout the Big Apple! Prescription Bottles for Sierra Leone Contact: Lane Glaze(glaze@clemson.edu) CW collects old presciption bottles (with labels removed) and ships them to Sierra Leone to be used for packaging medicines. Collection containers are located in several places at Clemson UMC. Student Missionaries A number of students involved in Clemson ministries have taken mission trips independent of Wesley or other Clemson ministries over the years. Past examples have included students serving in the Bahamas, in Africa and in New Orleans. CW is supporting these students through their prayers, care packages, and helping each meet the specific needs necessary to take these trips. If you feel God calling you to serve in one of these areas, on one of these teams or in the creation of a new missions ministry, email Lane (glaze@clemson.edu).
